§Grammar and usage

Degrees of comparison are positive ('tall'), comparative ('taller') and superlative ('tallest'); the order of adjectives before a noun is opinion, size, age, shape, colour, origin, material, purpose ('a lovely small old round brown Indian wooden table'); some adjectives are used only after a verb ('afraid', 'asleep', 'alone': 'The child is asleep', not 'an asleep child'); absolute adjectives (unique, perfect, complete) are not compared ('more unique' is wrong).

यह बहुत पूछा जाता है: तुलना की अवस्थाएँ positive ('tall'), comparative ('taller') और superlative ('tallest') हैं; noun से पहले adjectives का क्रम opinion, size, age, shape, colour, origin, material, purpose है ('a lovely small old round brown Indian wooden table'); कुछ adjectives केवल verb के बाद प्रयुक्त होते हैं ('afraid', 'asleep', 'alone': 'The child is asleep', 'an asleep child' नहीं); absolute adjectives (unique, perfect, complete) की तुलना नहीं होती ('more unique' गलत है)।

Keep the adjective types: quality ('good'), quantity ('some'), number ('five'), demonstrative ('this'), possessive ('my'), interrogative ('which').

Adjective के प्रकार याद रखिए: quality ('good'), quantity ('some'), number ('five'), demonstrative ('this'), possessive ('my'), interrogative ('which')।
