hate + noun / -ing / to-infinitive

Hate takes a noun, a gerund or a to-infinitive. Gerund shows a general dislike; to-infinitive is used for a particular occasion.

  • I hate waiting in queues.
  • I hate to disturb you, but the bus is here.

hate + sb + -ing / hate it when

Use a possessive or an object before the gerund, or 'it when' + clause.

Gerund से पहले possessive या object आता है, या 'it when' + clause।

  • I hate it when people talk in the library.

hate (noun) / hate for

The noun hate means a very strong dislike. 'Hate for' names the target.

hate to say / think
