Meh. (as a reply)

Meh is an informal interjection used alone as a reply when something does not interest or impress you. It is spoken and used in texts among friends, not in formal writing.

Meh अनौपचारिक विस्मयादिबोधक है, जो किसी बात के रुचिकर या प्रभावशाली न लगने पर उत्तर के रूप में अकेला प्रयुक्त होता है। यह मित्रों के बीच बोलचाल और संदेशों में चलता है, औपचारिक लेखन में नहीं।

  • 'How was the film?' 'Meh.'
  • 'Do you like the new menu?' 'Meh, nothing special.'

be meh (adjective)

As an informal adjective it describes something mediocre. It comes after a linking verb, not before a noun.

अनौपचारिक adjective के रूप में यह साधारण चीज़ का वर्णन करता है। यह linking verb के बाद आता है, noun से पहले नहीं।

  • The match was a bit meh.

meh in formal writing
