?Which word?

paper as a material is uncountable

When paper means the material, say a sheet of paper or a piece of paper, not 'a paper'. 'A paper' means a newspaper, an exam or an academic article.

जब paper का अर्थ 'कागज़' होता है, तब यह uncountable noun है और 'a sheet of paper' कहा जाता है। 'A paper' कहने पर अर्थ अखबार, प्रश्नपत्र या शोध-पत्र हो जाता है।
