§Grammar and usage
Until + present tense for the future ('Wait here until I return', not 'until I will return'); until has a negative meaning, so do not add 'not' after it ('Wait until I come', not 'until I do not come'); not ... until means not before ('I didn't sleep until midnight'); inversion with 'Not until' at the start ('Not until he left did I realize'); until and till mean the same (till is less formal); by (not later than: 'Submit it by Monday') and until (continuing up to: 'Stay until Monday').
यह बहुत पूछा जाता है: भविष्य के लिए until + present tense ('Wait here until I return', 'until I will return' नहीं); until का अर्थ नकारात्मक है, इसलिए इसके बाद 'not' न जोड़ें ('Wait until I come', 'until I do not come' नहीं); not ... until का अर्थ से पहले नहीं है ('I didn't sleep until midnight'); आरंभ में 'Not until' के साथ inversion ('Not until he left did I realize'); until और till का अर्थ समान है (till कम औपचारिक है); by (से देर नहीं: 'Submit it by Monday') और until (तक जारी: 'Stay until Monday')।
