?Which word?

wait for or await?

Wait needs for before its object: 'wait for the result'. Await is formal and takes a direct object: 'await the result'.

Wait के बाद object से पहले for आना ज़रूरी है, जैसे 'wait for the result'। Await एक formal और transitive verb है, इसलिए इसके बाद for नहीं आता, जैसे 'await the result'।
