General knowledge
The Supreme Court (Article 32) and High Courts (Article 226) can issue five writs: habeas corpus (produce the body; against illegal detention), mandamus (we command; ordering a public official to do their duty), prohibition (stopping a lower court from going beyond its powers), certiorari (to be certified; quashing an order of a lower court) and quo warranto (by what authority; questioning a person's right to hold a public office).
