§Grammar and usage

Yours is used without a noun ('This book is yours'); never write 'your's'; 'a friend of yours' (not 'a friend of you').

अक्सर पूछा जाता है: yours बिना noun के प्रयुक्त होता है ('This book is yours'); 'your's' कभी न लिखें; 'a friend of yours' ('a friend of you' नहीं)।

Letter writing GK: formal letters end with 'Yours faithfully' (to an unknown person, after 'Sir' or 'Madam') or 'Yours sincerely' (to a named person); in Indian formal letters, 'Yours obediently' is also used to officials.

पत्र-लेखन GK में औपचारिक पत्र 'Yours faithfully' (अज्ञात व्यक्ति को, 'Sir' या 'Madam' के बाद) या 'Yours sincerely' (नामित व्यक्ति को) से समाप्त होते हैं; भारतीय औपचारिक पत्रों में अधिकारियों को 'Yours obediently' भी प्रयुक्त होता है।
