§Grammar and usage
A pronoun used in apposition takes the same case as the word it explains, so we say 'Two students, Ravi and I, were selected' (not 'Ravi and me').
Apposition में आने वाला pronoun उसी case में होता है जिस शब्द को वह स्पष्ट करता है, इसलिए 'Two students, Ravi and I, were selected' सही है ('Ravi and me' गलत है)।
An appositive that only adds extra information is put between commas, but one that tells us which person is meant is not, as in 'my friend Radhika'.
