a brainless + noun (attributive)

Brainless comes before a noun to describe a person, plan or action that shows no sense at all. It is informal and rather rude when used about a person.

'Brainless' संज्ञा से पहले आकर ऐसे व्यक्ति, योजना या काम का वर्णन करता है जिसमें बिल्कुल समझ न हो। यह informal है और किसी व्यक्ति के लिए प्रयोग करने पर कुछ अशिष्ट माना जाता है।

  • Throwing stones at a moving train was a brainless thing to do.
  • The film was full of brainless action scenes.

be + brainless (predicative)

After the verb be, it describes the whole person or idea as foolish. It is stronger than silly or careless.

Verb 'be' के बाद यह पूरे व्यक्ति या विचार को मूर्खतापूर्ण बताता है। यह 'silly' या 'careless' से अधिक तीखा शब्द है।

  • Only a brainless driver would overtake on a blind curve.
  • Don't be brainless; read the instructions before pressing the button.

more brainless / the most brainless

It is a gradable adjective, so comparison uses more and most, not -er and -est.
