?Which word?

mass and weight

In physics, mass is the amount of matter in a body and never changes; weight is the force of gravity on that mass and changes with place. A man of 60 kg mass weighs about ten kilograms-force on the moon but has the same mass. In everyday speech 'weight' is used for both. Mass is measured in kilograms, weight in newtons.

The mass/weight distinction is a science item asked very often.
