reply to somebody/something
The preposition is 'to': reply to a letter, to a question, to a person. Do not add 'to' before 'that' or direct speech.
Preposition 'to' है: reply to a letter, to a question, to a person; 'that' या direct speech से पहले 'to' नहीं लगता।

'Reply' is intransitive when the answerer is named; it needs 'to'.

reply to, answer and respond
Reply and respond take to before the thing answered: 'reply to a letter', 'respond to criticism'. Answer takes a direct object: 'answer the letter' (not 'answer to the letter', except in the sense of being responsible: 'answer to the boss'). Never write 'reply the letter'.
