?Which word?

slang, jargon, colloquial and dialect

Slang is informal language of a group, often short-lived ('bunk', 'chill'). Jargon is the technical vocabulary of a profession ('tort', 'bandwidth'). Colloquial language is the ordinary informal speech of everyone ('kids' for children). A dialect is the form of a language used in a region. None of the first three belongs in a formal essay.

Slang किसी समूह की अनौपचारिक भाषा है, प्रायः अल्पजीवी ('bunk', 'chill')। Jargon किसी पेशे की तकनीकी शब्दावली है ('tort', 'bandwidth')। Colloquial भाषा सबकी सामान्य अनौपचारिक बोली है ('kids' बच्चों के लिए)। Dialect किसी क्षेत्र में प्रयुक्त भाषा का रूप है। पहले तीन में से कोई औपचारिक निबंध में नहीं आता।
