§Grammar and usage

Somebody takes a singular verb ('Somebody is knocking'); somebody and someone mean the same, though somebody is a little less formal.

Somebody singular verb लेता है ('Somebody is knocking'); somebody और someone का अर्थ समान है, यद्यपि somebody थोड़ा कम औपचारिक है।

Usage: be somebody (be an important person: 'Work hard and become somebody'); the opposite is a nobody (an unimportant person).

प्रयोग में be somebody (महत्वपूर्ण व्यक्ति होना: 'Work hard and become somebody', कुछ बनना); विपरीत a nobody (महत्वहीन व्यक्ति) है।
