§Grammar and usage

Nobody takes a singular verb ('Nobody knows'); it already has a negative meaning, so avoid a double negative ('Nobody came', not 'Nobody didn't come'); the question tag is positive and plural ('Nobody called, did they?').

अक्सर पूछा जाता है: nobody singular verb लेता है ('Nobody knows'); इसका अर्थ पहले से नकारात्मक है, इसलिए दोहरे नकार से बचें ('Nobody came', 'Nobody didn't come' नहीं); question tag सकारात्मक और plural होता है ('Nobody called, did they?')।

Usage: a nobody (an unimportant person) is the opposite of a somebody.

प्रयोग में a nobody (महत्वहीन व्यक्ति) a somebody का विपरीत है।
