§Grammar and usage

Very + positive adjective or adverb ('very good', 'very quickly'), but much or far + comparative ('much better', not 'very better'); very + past participle used as an adjective ('very interested', 'very tired'), but much or greatly + past participle in the passive ('much admired'); avoid very with absolute adjectives (unique, perfect, excellent, essential); in writing, use stronger words instead of 'very' + adjective (very big becomes huge, very tired becomes exhausted, very good becomes excellent).

यह बहुत पूछा जाता है: very + positive adjective या adverb ('very good', 'very quickly'), पर much या far + comparative ('much better', 'very better' नहीं); adjective के रूप में प्रयुक्त past participle के साथ very ('very interested', 'very tired'), पर passive में past participle के साथ much या greatly ('much admired'); absolute adjectives (unique, perfect, excellent, essential) के साथ very से बचें; लेखन में 'very' + adjective के बजाय अधिक सशक्त शब्द प्रयुक्त करें (very big बनता है huge, very tired बनता है exhausted, very good बनता है excellent)।
