§Grammar and usage
Yesterday takes the past tense ('I went yesterday', not 'I have gone yesterday'; the present perfect is not used with a definite past time).
यह बहुत पूछा जाता है: yesterday के साथ past tense आता है ('I went yesterday', 'I have gone yesterday' नहीं; निश्चित भूतकाल के साथ present perfect प्रयुक्त नहीं होता)।
Hindi learners' trap: kal means both yesterday and tomorrow, but English has two separate words.
हिंदी भाषियों का trap: 'कल' का अर्थ yesterday और tomorrow दोनों है, पर English में दो अलग शब्द हैं।
