dif·fi·cul·ty

?Which word?

have difficulty in doing, not to do

After difficulty use in + -ing or just -ing: 'I had difficulty (in) finding the house.' Never 'difficulty to find'. The same rule applies to trouble: 'trouble finding'.

Difficulty के बाद in + -ing या केवल -ing आता है, जैसे 'I had difficulty (in) finding the house'। 'Difficulty to find' कभी नहीं। यही नियम trouble पर लागू होता है, जैसे 'trouble finding'।

§Grammar and usage

'difficulty to do' is wrong; use 'difficulty in doing'.

'difficulty to do' गलत है; 'difficulty in doing' सही है।
