?Which word?

filled with or full of?

Filled with is the participle, describing the result of filling: 'a bag filled with books'. Full of is the adjective, describing the state: 'a bag full of books'. Both are correct and often interchangeable, but say 'full of' (not 'full with') and 'filled with' (not 'filled of'). 'Filled in a form' means completed it; 'filled up the tank' means filled it completely.

'Filled with' participle है, भरने का परिणाम बताता है: 'a bag filled with books'। 'Full of' adjective है, अवस्था बताता है: 'a bag full of books'। दोनों सही हैं और प्रायः एक-दूसरे की जगह आते हैं, पर 'full of' कहिए ('full with' नहीं) और 'filled with' ('filled of' नहीं)। 'Filled in a form' का अर्थ 'पूरा किया'; 'filled up the tank' का अर्थ 'पूरा भरा'।

§Grammar and usage

Filled with, full of (never 'full with' or 'filled of').

यह बहुत पूछा जाता है: filled with, full of ('full with' या 'filled of' कभी नहीं)।
